I haven't really discussed any other fashion blogs in quite some time, so I figured I should go ahead and review one of my new-found favorites! Perhaps something the internet, and the fashion world in general, is lacking is an emphasis on men's fashion. I know that a lot of people don't tend to put much, if any, stock into men's clothing, or think that fashion and trend setting is strictly for women -- but this could not be further from the truth. And no one does a better job of celebrating men's international street wear than 'Men in this Town' -- "a street style journal profiling men with a distinct look in their natural habitat," created by designer/photographer Giuseppe Santamaria.

I often find myself getting lost for large sums of time perusing through page after page of Santamaria's impeccable photographs. Originally from Toronto, the talented Santamaria now lives in Sydney and takes photos of men on the street that he comes across on his travels wearing some very exceptional outfits. He also shoots videos and even interviews men from time to time to ask them specifically about what they are wearing and why [a link to one of my favorite videos is below]. All of the content on his blog is stunning and fashionably intriguing, and truly allows you to appreciate good men's wear when you see it! I highly advise you to check out this blog and keep it in your favorites, as you never know where Santamaria will be or what handsomely dressed man will appear on his blog next...

Surfing the net and coming across fashion blogs is a big part of staying up to date and inspired. I am always finding and stumbling upon new and interesting fashion blogs. Every so often I will create a post like this one that summarizes and links to fashion blogs that I have recently found and enjoyed. Even though there is a constant stream of blogs on the net, I have yet to find two that are the same - and I think that is what is so interesting about the fashion blog 'community.'

Here are a couple blogs that I've been intrigued by this week:

Citizen Couture is a truly breathtaking site. It is full of pictures of extremely fashionable people from all over the globe. In my opinion, Citizen Couture is similar to something like the Sartorialist, but instead of just a blogspot blog, it is an all-encompassing website. The blog was started by a freelance photographer in 2009, so the site is fairly new. The photos on Citizen Couture are of fashion professionals and/or random people at fashion events, shows and gatherings from around the world. And what I also love about this site is that almost every picture taken has a caption with the person's name and profession underneath it. So you can put a name to a face and see just what the 'fashion editor at Vogue Italia' is wearing to a Paris fashion show. If you are searching for inspiration and some of the most stunning photos of fashionistas found on the street, this is worth checking out!

It Looks Good to Me is another fashion blog that I have actually been following for quite some time. This blog doesn't just cover fashion, but also design, food, art and many other little categories. Started by a textile designer from Brooklyn, It Looks Good to Me has a great following and is a very well put together website. Since the author, Caroline, is an artist/illustrator, she is constantly creating artwork for the blog, and she even has a 'print shop' where you can purchase her work. I find her's to be a very unique style, and I like the personality that she gives to the site. Coupled with her own illustrations, photographs and writings about fashion and style trends in New York City, this blog is one of my favorites!

Even though there is a constant stream of blogs on the net, I have yet to find two that are the same - and I think that is what is so interesting about the fashion blog 'community.'

Here are a few blogs that I've been intrigued by this week.

ErinJeen.com is a pretty established blog that has been around for a good while. Erin touches on all sorts of subjects, from runway looks to great buys and even celebrity style. What I have really liked about her site recently was her commentary on New York Fashion Week s/s 2011. She does a great job with her blog, and it's easy to see that she has a lot of connections and successes within the industry. I believe she is also interested in PR, so you can read what she has to say about that as well. Definitely check this one out.

MarianKihogo.com is another blog that I randomly found this week. Marian is fashion editor at Glossy Magazine and also does creative consulting and styling. Her blog covers everything ranging from fashion, trends, beauty, music, art and interviews. I really like the layout of her blog, and how extensive it is. Her photos are always gorgeous and her sense of style is very strong. She also covers many of the fashion shows extensively. I have really enjoyed looking through her site and I'm sure you will too.

Karlascloset.blogspot.com is another one of my new found favorites. For my final blog suggestion of the day, I thought I would choose her site because it is different than a lot of others I've visited recently. For starters, her personal style is amazing, and the pictures of her and her clothes are really breathtaking. The unique thing about her blog is that many of her clothes are vintage, and she even has a whole seperate site dedicated to selling vintage clothes that she finds at various places and shops. I really enjoy seeing all of her different outfits, and I like that she explains where all of her clothes are from. This blog is a must-see!

I hope you enjoy stumbling on these blogs yourself. Let me know what you think about them!
